Heather Goldson is the Deputy CEO of Supreme Ventures Services Limited, a subsidiary of Supreme Ventures Limited and the Chief Marketing Officer for the Supreme Ventures Group. She is also a Director of the Supreme Ventures Foundation and operates in the capacity of the Executive Director.
Prior to her role at SVL, she held the position of Regional Marketing Director for Scotiabank’s English and Spanish operations across 19 countries in the Caribbean, having held several leadership positions in the company over her almost 12 years with the bank. Under her leadership, the Caribbean’s marketing operations were transitioned from Scotiabank’s Toronto head office to be fully managed from Jamaica.
Before joining Scotiabank she held senior marketing positions with the Digicel Group as Head of Marketing for Jamaica and Acting Head of Marketing in Barbados. A partner in the original signing negotiations that brought Usain Bolt to Digicel as its first Ambassador, Heather also played a key role in the roll out of the company’s St. Lucia operation.
Heather currently also sits on the Boards of Fontana Pharmacy Limited, Key Insurance Ltd, and Chain of Hope Jamaica Ltd. She has given of her time to several not for profit entities including the Board of the Digicel Foundation, the Scotiabank Foundation, GC Foster College and has chaired the Marketing & PR Committee of the Jamaica Football Foundation Board.
Heather holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Florida International University, and worked in marketing and PR in Miami, Florida before making the choice to return home and give back to her country. She has never looked back.
No stranger to personal challenges, Heather has worked through a series of serious illnesses and related conditions, including having beaten cancer twice and fighting kidney disease to its conclusion with a kidney transplant. Gratefully receiving a selfless organ donation from her only brother, Heather is continuing the fight and has supported various organizations related to persons with CKD and organ transplants.
Heather considers herself a proud “country girl” having been born and raised in Mandeville, Jamaica however she currently lives in Kingston. She is married with a step-daughter and 4 fur babies.
